The client had an existing website with a static photo gallery.

They expressed the need to improve the gallery and we suggested a custom file upload application giving the ability to categorise the photo entries as needed.

It also includes the ability to delete and/or replace certain photos and re-categorise them as needed.

The application was done using php and mysql server technology.

A one page brochure website summarising an new service the client is offering.

Was important to keep within the design and branding of the main website.

Design was based on a supplied pdf document.

We were requested by the client to take the existing website and develop an ad management module for it.

Requirements were:

• Register new Clients
• Ability to upload graphics
  
• Record and manage purchased ads based on expiry dates
  
• Record number of clicks per ad
• Randomise the positions of the ads displayed

The client was looking for something unique and interactive.
The site was done customising the clients template and integrating interactivity using php and mysql technology.

This website is a Custom Content Management System (CMS) that was build from the ground up using php and mysql.

This put the client is in the unique position of being able to update ALL the content in the site without having to struggle with the steep learning curve of traditional CMS.

The site has been delivered but the client is now busy writing the content.
The site URL will be made public one the client publish the content.

Carers Northern Ireland is a web site for the Care Workers in Northern Ireland.
It uses a flash animation as part of the logo with a CSS menu for navigation. Google Adsence is build into it to inject content in the form of relevant advertisements, earning a couple of pounds to sponsor the hosting of the site.
It has a password protected area with a forum for registered users build with PhP and Mysql technology.

The site has gone live although it is still under construction.

Although we do not maintain this website we did design the template using standard HTML, PhP and incorporated a CSS Menu.
The Flash Intro is a customised commercial template while the Flash logo and graphics was done by us.
Background music is royalty free downloaded from the Internet.

The site is hosted on our Level 1 package.

Utila Dive Buoys.com is purely a maintenance web site.
It's main functionality lies in the administration section.

The web site displays information about diving buoys that is viewable by clicking on a map.

If a diver finds a problem at the buoy they were diving they report the problem via the site. An e-mail is automatically send to the administrators and employees of Utiladivebuoys.com.

The fault is rectified and a job card submitted, an e-mail send to the administrators and the maintenance data for the buoy updates.

The buoy data is also maintained via the administration section.

Apart from the php coding and general layout the site was done in partnership with Nu Hope Designs.

VATSAF - VATSIM South Africa is part of a worldwide on-line community of aviation enthusiast that uses the internet and modern technology to enjoy their hobby.

This site is 99% dynamic and includes automated e-mails, examinations, bookings, member portfolios, photo gallery and an extensive back office run by a number of different people.

This was accomplished by using php and mysql and a number of specialist designing and database utilities.

Vredendal Sundance Pools and Superior Spa is a South African based client that needed a web site build specifically for the Afrikaans community of the South African West Coast.

The client wanted something plain and simple with the ability to maintain photos of the different swimming pools himself.

Because of limitations in the clients hosting package we could not implement php and mysql. This obstacle was overcome by training the client in photo resizing techniques and how to access his server space with FTP software.

The Ultimate Flightsim Experience is a South African on-line community of aviation enthusiast using Home Computers with MS Flight simulator Software and the technology available on the internet to enjoy a hobby very view people has ever heard of.

The community wanted a web site from where they could access and download all the software they need as well as a place to showcase pictures they took while flying on-line.

This was accomplished by using PhP and Mysql.
Incidentally this is the web site that earned me a Diploma in Web Design Level III with distinction.
