Introduction

The back-end or Admin Section, is the heart of XMS Exel Content Management System.
Everything you do here is going to affect how your Front end will be displayed to your visitors.

Main Page

This is directly linked to our server and we inject the following information right onto your desktop without you having to even open up your e-mail client.
  1. The latest XMS news and development information
  2. The latest information that is applicable to your installation

We might at a later stage send out automated e-mails every time we add any information

Content Editor

In this section you
  1. Add new pages
  2. Edit or update existing pages
  3. Delete old pages

Menu Editor

In this section you
  1. Add new Menu Items
  2. Edit or update existing Menu Items
    1. Set the display order
    2. Set the parent menu item
    3. Show or hide menu items
  3. Delete old menu items

Member List

To be Completed
  1. This will be a list of visitors that contacted you via the contact page and automatically subscribed to your mailing list

Using the editor

If you can use MS Word or similar applications then you should not experience any problems understanding the basic principles of using the XMS editor
Using the advance features to produce a "better than good" looking website will take some practice but with a little bit of perseverance you should be able to not understand the general use of the XMS editor, but be able to build complex looking websites.
